Good day its Wednesday and fortunately the rain has stopped. This is the first part of the story that i am writing. this just came out of nowhere just from listening to music and playing with my mind. i hope you like it.

The kingdom of Xerin had an advantage in strategy and was at
war with the neighboring kingdoms. The Nodour Empire on the north that is
technologically advanced and the kingdom of Sluvalon on the south with its
strong magic affinity. The west part was a vast forest called Therzollon
stretching to the mountains of Fergan filled with dangerous creatures and
unexplored treasures left by the old civilization.
A boy named Xathry was living a normal life in a small
village in the Kingdom of Xerin with his best friend Ian they like to playing
near the outskirts of their village. They like to play soldiers with wooden
sticks sparring with each other. They were adventurous and like to explore.
They was also a bit mischievous playing small pranks with the villagers.
When Xathry was around eight while playing with Ian at the
woods an Eld appeared. A goblin creature with a nasty habit of eating human flesh.
It suddenly attacked the two boys. It aimed at Ian charging ferociously and
jumped claws ready to pounce Xathry picked up a piece of wood and blocked the
attack. While blocking the Eld it scratched his right arm. The Eld backed and
stared at him ferociously. Xathry in front of Ian with a bleeding arm and told
his friend
“Xathry - Ian when it attacks again run”
His friend said “Ian - no I won’t leave you”
Picked up a stone and in a throwing position stood by the
side of Xathry. The creature attacked again rushing in. Ian threw a rock
hitting it on the head. The creature lost its footing and stumbled to the
ground. The two had a chance to run so they did without looking back.
When they reached the outer part of the forest, the creature
was nowhere to be seen. Xathry with a deep wound on his right arm bleeding Ian
tore a piece of cloth from his shirt and tied around the cut. Little did they
know that the Eld was still following them hidden at a nearby tree. The two had
a conversation.
“Xathry – that was close we almost died” with an unworried
and smiling face.
“Ian – thanks for saving me back there” with a grateful
stare.
“Xathry – that was nothing were best friends aren’t we”
looking at Ian smiling.
The Eld suddenly attacked them again, it rushed from the
tree that it was hiding in. Xathry saw it for he was the one facing in that
direction. “Xathry – Ian the monster it followed us” looking surprised. Ian
turned around, saw the Eld’s claws almost at his face, and thought, “Ian - Are
we just going to die like this?” Then suddenly a gush of blade like wind
slashed the Eld in half thus killing the creature.
The two looked where the attack came from and saw a man in
light armor and open robe. The man came to them and asked them “man – are you
two alright?” Ian replied “Ian – thank you for saving us” then he looked at his
friend. Xathry suddenly fell ill, Ian asked him “ Ian – Xathry whats wrong?”
Ian saw his right arm swollen. The man asked them “man – did that creature
wounded you?” Ian told the man what happened. “Ian – the monster suddenly
appeared at the forest and attacked us, my friend’s right arm was scratched”
The man suddenly picked up Xathry and asked Ian “man – where is the nearest
village?” “Ian – our village is not far from here” “man- we need his wound to
be treated right away” The both of them ran Ian guiding the man to their
village.

I am out of ideas for now. and i am having problems how to tell who is speaking, if i have to put the name of the character or just explane what the character is saying or tell who is speaking. i am really new at writing. mostly this is all just in my head while daydreaming. if you have any comment or suggestions please write your comments below. your feedback will be most appreciated. thank you and have a nice day.
